SILVER TEQUILA COCKTAILS

SPICY MARGARITA

Beginner

Ingredients:

  • 25ml Miixa 100 Silver Tequila
  • 25ml Ancho Reyes Chilli Liqueur
  • 25ml Lime Juice
  • Tajín seasoning
  • Ice
  • Garnish – Salt or Tajín rim of glass

Equipment:

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Fine strainers
  • Margarita / Martini glass

Method:

STEP 1: Sprinkle some Tajin or salt over the surface of a small plate. Rub a sliced lime wedge along the rim of a Margarita glass and then dip the lime covered rim into the plate of Tajin or salt until the rim is completely covered

STEP 2: Add your Silver Tequila, Ancho Reyes, and Lime into your shaker. (Add some drops of Tabasco for an extra spicy Margarita)

STEP 3: Add 3-4 medium sized ice cubes to the shaker, shake well for at least 10 seconds

STEP 4: Place the strainer on top of the cocktail shaker whilst holding the fine strainer above the glass and pour the cocktail into the glass through both strainers

LA JUNGLA

Beginner

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Miixa 100 Silver Tequila
  • 25ml Grenadine
  • 15ml Orgeat Syrup
  • 75ml Pineapple Juice
  • Ice
  • garnish – pineapple leaf and orange wheel

Equipment:

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Margarita / Martini glASS

Method:

STEP 1: Sprinkle some salt over the surface of a small plate. Rub a sliced lime wedge along the rim of a Margarita glass and then dip the lime covered rim into the plate of salt until the rim is completely covered in salt

STEP 2: Add your sliced chillies, Silver Tequila, Triple Sec and Lime into your shaker. (Add some drops of Tabasco for an extra spicy Margarita)

STEP 3: Add 3-4 medium sized ice cubes to the shaker, shake well for at least 10 seconds

STEP 4: Place the strainer on top of the cocktail shaker whilst holding the fine strainer above the glass and pour the cocktail into the glass through both strainers

COCO LOCO

Beginner

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Miixa 100 Silver Tequila
  • 25ml Coconut Syrup
  • 25ml Lime JUICE

Equipment:

  • COCKTAIL SHAKER
  • STRAINER
  • FINE STRAINERS
  • Whisky Glass / Tumbler

Method:

STEP 1: Pour silver tequila, coconut syrup and the lime juice into a shaker

STEP 2: Add 3-4 ice cubes to the shaker, shake well FOR at least 10 seconds

STEP 3: Fill the glass glass with crushed ice

STEP 4: Place strainer on top of the shaker and pour into the glass

STEP 5: Garnish with pineapple leaf and lime wedge

Sweet Sunset Margarita

Intermediate

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Miixa 100 Silver Tequila
  • 3 LARGE STRAWBERRIES
  • 25ML WATERMELON SYRUP
  • 25ML LIME JUICE
  • 20ML WATER
  • GARNISH – HALF A STRAWBERRY AND A LIME WEDGE

Equipment:

  • Blender

Method:

STEP 1: Slice strawberries

STEP 2: Pour silver tequila, watermelon syrup, lime juice, water and sliced strawberries into the blender

STEP 3: Blend until smooth

STEP 4: Pour contents into the glass

STEP 5: Garnish with half a strawberry and a lime wedge

CAFÉ TEQUILA COCKTAILS

CAFÉ MARTINI

Beginner

Ingredients:

  • 50ML MIIXA100 Café TEQUILA
  • 25ML MIIXA100 Silver TEQUILA
  • 10ML BROWN SUGAR SYRUP (Optional)
  • 50ML ESPRESSO COFFEE
  • ICE
  • GARNISH – COFFEE BEANS

Equipment:

  • COCKTAIL SHAKER
  • STRAINER
  • FINE STRAINERS
  • Martini Glass / Coupe Glass 

Method:

STEP 1: Pour Silver Tequila, Café Tequila, espresso shot and sugar syrup into a shaker

STEP 2: Add 3-4 ice cubes to the shaker, shake well for at least 10 seconds, making sure the ice hits the top and bottom of the shaker

STEP 3: Place strainer on top of the shaker while holding the fine strainer above the glass. and pour into the glass through both strainers

STEP 4: Garnish with 2-3 coffee beans

EXTINCT

Beginner

Ingredients:

  • 25ML MIIXA100 SILVER TEQUILA
  • 50ML MIIXA100 CAFÉ TEQUILA
  • 25ML BANANA SYRUP
  • 50ML MILK
  • ICE
  • GARNISH – CHOCOLATE BITTERS OR CHOCOLATE POWDER

Equipment:

  • COCKTAIL SHAKER
  • STRAINER
  • Tin Cup

Method:

STEP 1: Pour Silver Tequila, Café Tequila, Banana syrup and milk into a shakeR

STEP 2: Add 3-4 ice cubes to the shaker, shake well FOR AT LEAST 10 SECONDS

STEP 3: Place strainer on top of the shaker and pour the cocktail into the tin cup

STEP 4: Garnish WITH Chocolate bitters or chocolate powder

CAFÉ NEGRONI

Beginner

Ingredients:

  • 25ML MIIXA100 CAFÉ TEQUILA
  • 25ML CAMPARI
  • 25ML LONDON DRY GIN
  • 15ML AGAVE SYRUP
  • ICE
  • GARNISH – oRANGE PEEL

Equipment:

  • COCKTAIL mIXING gLASS
  • bAR sPOON
  • STRAINER
  • wHISKY Glass / tUMBLER 

Method:

STEP 1: Pour CAFÉ Tequila, CAMPARI, lONDON dRY gIN and AGAVE syrup into a MIXING GLASS

STEP 2: Add 3-4 ice cubes to the MIXING GLASS AND WITH YOUR BAR SPOON, STIR THE CONTENTS FOR AROUND 30 REVOLUTIONS, making sure the DRINK IS MIXED WELL AND ICE COLD

STEP 3: pLACE A LARGE ICE CUBE INTO YOUR WHISKY GLASS OR TUMBLER

STEP 4: pLACE STRAINER ON TOP OF THE MIXING GLASS AND POUR THE COCKTAIL INTO THE GLASS     

STEP 5: GARNISH WITH ORANGE PEEL
